Dr. Njue has a wealth of experience in Healthcare Management having previously served in Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi Women’s Hospital as Chief of Medical Service, Equity Afia as the Chief of Party, St Mary’s Mission Hospitals as Chief Executive Officer and Penda Health as the Head of Clinical Services.
Dr. Gabriel Njue holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Science from the University of London, Post Graduate training in Healthcare Management from the University of Georgia.
Mr. Pradeep Meharishi has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is a passionate executive with practical knowledge and experience in Healthcare Finance and Process Management. His work involves defining the strategies, processes, and controls in finance operations which is key in achieving budgetary discipline in cost controls and increasing profitability in any organization.
Prior to joining Bliss Healthcare, Mr. Meharishi worked with Fortis Healthcare Limited and Max Healthcare Limited, which are the leading healthcare providers in India operating multiple hospitals across India.
He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce.
Mr. Alfred Gakumbi is passionate about human resource management and retention of human talent with emphasis on the design and implementation of cutting-edge human resource service delivery. Mr. Gakumbi, who brings along 15 years of experience identifies team synergy as key to achieving strategic HR objectives and has the ability to effectively develop and implement human resource policies, human resource program analysis, training and development as well as employee relations within the context of human resource transformation initiatives in alignment with business process management.
Prior to joining us, Alfred was the Director – Human Resources with Village Health Work, New York and Burundi where he assumed overall human resource responsibility functions.
From 2014 to 2020, he was the Vice President – Human Resources and Administration, Medanta Africare Hospital (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda) where he was involved in human resource strategy, talent management and culture, coaching and mentorship, human resource risk assessment and analysis as well as policy development and implementation. He has also worked with East Africa Data Handlers (K) Ltd. as the Head of Human Resources, Administration and Operations as well as Parapet Group of Companies.
Alfred holds a Master of Science Degree (Human Resource Management) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management) from Egerton University. He is a certified HR professional with the Institute of Human Resource Management.
Dr. Fankupi who is very passionate about the Quality of Care that patients receive has over 8 years of experience in healthcare management. She is well-versed in Medical Administration and Audit; Clinical Operations Management; Staff Management and Evaluation; Policy Formulation and Implementation, Patient Safety and Quality Assurance; Management of Healthcare Programs and Change Management.
While her duties entail the above, Dr. Batul is someone who believes healthcare is everyone’s right. Being a patient listener and dedicated caregiver, she lives by the mantra- “A good doctor treats the disease, but a great doctor treats the patient”.
Prior to joining Bliss Healthcare, Dr. Fankupi worked in the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini Hospital in Iran and Coast Province General Hospital in Kenya.
She joined Bliss Healthcare in 2017 as a Medical Officer and rose through the ranks to become General Manager- Clinical Quality in 2020. In January 2023, she was then promoted to her current post of Senior General Manager- Quality.
Dr. Fankupi holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran and a Masters in Healthcare Management from Westford University College in the UK.
